Degree Overview
 
The BPES is a three-year undergraduate degree offering three streams of study: 
 

1. Exercise Science and Fitness, 
2. Recreation and Sport Management, 
3. Teaching  

 
The BPES provides students with in-depth knowledge of the field of Physical Education and the fundamental and specialized skills required by Physical Educators, Exercise Science and Health Professionals, Personal trainers and coaches. 
 
BPES also offers the opportunity to obtain certification through the following organizations: 
 

• National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP)
• Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP)
• Manitoba Fitness Council (MFC)
